Preliminary (7/11 eps)
The Promised Neverland season 2 will go down to the history of anime, as one of the series which used plot armor as literally the only thing that it kept the story moving on till the very end.
The only excuse the studio has for this dissapointing story telling is simple LAZINESS. If you were expecting sth with suspense, mystery or horror like how s1 was, then you are in the wrong place. The right place for you if you want these story elements in this series, is the MANGA.

There was literally not a single scene from s2 that could become iconic for this series or sth, every little detail of the story was decided by the godness of this universe Emma. All the children even characters such as Ray or Norman, acted according to how Emma wanted things to be done. And believe me every idea this main character had up her sleeve, was just the stupidiest and zero logic things ever. There was no explanation as to why she wanted things to end up the way they did.

Nothing made an impact on the characters, they didn't experience any kind of harm from the demons and everything went 100% smooth for them, cause PLOT ARMOR as we said. The children had no experience in combat at all, yet they managed to pull everything out their own way. Supporting characters were just there for being there, there was no realistic aspect to them or to the main characters as well. I mean, there were scenes in which some of the supporting characters were fighting demons with guns and couldn't beat them at all. However the children brought from Jesus to this earth, were able to beat the shit out of them with just an arrow and a bow, with literally no actual trainnig thus far ( BIG FACEPALM )

All in all don't even waste your time with this pile of shit, even as an anime only you will find a lot of problems in s2, just go read the manga and leave it at that.
