Preliminary (12/12 eps)
Beastars once again carries true with it's amazing characters and story. Having read the manga midway into season one, i can definitively say that the team behind season 2 is doing an excellent job. They aren't only adapting but also improving upon the original in subtle but well appreciated way (mostly through the use of dynamic facial movements).

in my opinion season 2 is a faithful continuation of season 1 and of the source material. if you liked the character dynamics, interwoven story, and drama that Beastars season 1 provided, then you will absolutely enjoy season 2.

That being said viewers should take note that this arc doesn't contain nearly as much school life and drama club as season 1. The story decides to focus more on action rather then the drama within the school. the upside is that the combat translates excellently into the anime, the downside is that a few characters are slightly shoved by the way side (poor Haru and Juno). If season 3 comes out and they don't make major changes then this trend will be exacerbated further so do keep aware.
