Here's how it starts. Two childhood friends (32, Male for both) get killed by a goddess into a fantasy world. However, because of the wish of one of the friends, he was transformed into a western loli. Not only that, the goddess placed a curse on them where the two fall in love with each other. This is an... interesting premise to say the least. Normally, I'd read a few chapters before putting it in the back burner. However, there's a lot going for this manga.
the characters are fantastic. I'm not saying this because the characters have some deep and emotional backstory or they go through an arduous journey to figure themselves out as a character, but rather, their chemistry together. Each of the jokes work perfectly, and thats because of the characters. They bounce so well off of each other as opposites in terms of personality. Jinguuji is portrayed as this hard-working, uptight, relatable, and dignified businessman who's popular with all the ladies. On the other side, Tachibana is portrayed as a messy but charming individual and is quite relatable as well. Watching these relatable characters interact is super entertaining to read, and it just feels like you're watching the journey of 2 bros in a fantasy world.
the story is fine but there isn't much to talk about. the art on the other hand, is very neat and clean. you can enjoy the manga without being too absorbed into the art or having the art cause problems. there isn't anything special that stands out from the art, which is perfect for complimenting the rest of the aspects without causing any problems.
i got a lot of chuckles and laughs from this.
this is just really enjoyable to read and doesn't feel cliche or doesn't have any annoying characters. if you haven't read this already, give it a shot
