This show has become my most favorite anime-hentai-cartoon ever. The fact that it exist alone is more than enough to put a smile on my face any day. Truly a magnum opus of an anime. Its greatness can never be measured. The best place to watch this is definitely on Twitter. I came in with zero expectation and got pleasantly surprise, maybe this show will not be as bad as I expected it to be. But again, there are only 2 episodes so far, nothing is certain.
General thoughts
Jokes aside, this show is actually pretty decent so far. As a manga reader, I'm glad that they changed up the story, makes it not boring to watch it again. The animation was clean but not too clean to the point of looking weird and so was the sakuga, it was not clunky at all and I never felt dizzy watching it. The soundtrack was also very on point and I feel like it always compliments the scene. The villain was indeed one-dimensional but I personally didn't have any problems with it. It's pretty easy to digest if you are not a snowflake.
VA praise
Finally, the stars of the show are definitely the VAs. Keyaru voice cannot be more fitting to his character, he is crazy, sympathetic while also extremely fun to watch. He gets emotional when he needs to and goes insane when he wants to. Keyaru is pretty decent in the manga but Hozumi(the VA) pushed it to the next level. Keyaru is definitely one of my favorite anti-heroes ever. However, with that being said, I have to say that Ayano Shibuya was the true MVP, she absolutely killed it and I have never seen a performance that can be compared to her, even in hardcore hentais. Her screams are packed with emotions that make you almost feel sorry for Freiya (I said ALMOST). She captured the emotion of the character really well. I'm actually stunned that she does so little voice acting, she seems to be really talented from what I've seen. As for the other characters, everyone is ok. I have relatively high hopes on Anna's VA.
The "Black bars"
The only nitpick I have so far is the censoring. When I heard that this was made by TNK, I thought there was gonna be some big fat milk tanks slapping straight at our faces but turns out they were all censored. It was not even the good kind of censored when less is more, it was just some boring black bars. I know there are uncensored versions but I found the censored version first and my experience was ruined a bit, but not by much.
Conclusion
I'm expecting this to become an extremely polarizing anime. People will either really like this show or just fucking despises it. Some youtubers is definitely going drop some big fat load of shit on it."Redo of healer: Next level bad"(Sounds pretty good for a title)
