1) Because there's going to be a remake of it
2) Because although its an older anime, I don't feel that it can compete with newer shonen animes

I think that the story is pretty decent, but it's just anti-climatic for me. At times, it felt like the plot would stretch, but at times it also felt as if it were rushed. The script is decent, not the best ( could be the translations tho) but yea. Looking forward to the remake though, they could probably make it more epic now that newer/better animes already came out. Oh yea, the comedic portions are good too.

To put it bluntly, the fighting scenes aren't like what they are now. In all of the fighting scenes so far, it seems like it was too fast, or if it was going at a good pace, it just rushed the end to make it in time for the episode time. I don't blame the anime though, because it is an older anime and (probably) was made as a "childrens" show. Also the animations when they fight don't make them epic, just mediocre. But I am still looking forward to the remake, it seems like it could have great potential. Hopefully, the characters get new designs, and Yoh will get even more drip.

Hell yeah, the ops and the eds are soo good. One other thing to point out is that since it was an older anime, they had limited backround sounds for fights and stuff (i think?) but like always, it makes the remake more promising. Lets see if the new ops/eds can compare

My boy manta bro, best character imo. The boy is so short, yet he can still keep up with everyone. The characters are decent, not the best, but the remake could bring out the characters even more. (ex. En Tao doesn't seem scary at all, when he should be)

I enjoyed it cuz I wanted to see what Shaman King was all about. I also had to take a break from Bleach for a while. but then Shaman King got kinda boring so yea, ill just wait for the remake.
