Firstly I don't read many josei romances, why? well from what little I have read they mostly just turn into reverse harems with every guy within eyesight going for the same girl. But in this case with the main female we know exactly who she likes and the romance between them is clear.
The story is very light, some darker elements come into play as it goes on such as the event at the end of volume one but thankfully the male lead is always quick to arrive so it stays light hearted.
I don't really want to spoil anything as its a short three volume read but if you want a feel good story that isn't 20+ volumes give it a chance.
