Elfen Lied is defiently not one of those same old happy harem types that make give you a giggles, and you move on with your day. For those who can not stand watching tremendous amounts of blood and gore then this anime may not be for you, but if you can look past that and watch it for what its worth it can defiently be very enjoyable. This anime is very dark and shows how cruelty can make anyone go insane and become cold to the world and do not fear ending others lifes and the consequences for that. If you want a psychological rollercoaster then this show will peek your interests.
