Updated for vol. 2

The story begins when Kureshima discovers Oono secret, from then on Kureshima starts hanging out with Oono more and more until they become close. Then something happens between them and Oono creates some distance but that won't last long.

This story has an interesting plot that if it had been well written it would make a pretty nice BL story, but it was all over the place. Some plot parts are rushed, others are just suddenly dropped. The most interesting part of the story doesn't even get explored the way I think should've been. One chapter even seemed to have whole pages missing and made a crucial part of the manga to be quite confusing.

Overall, is not the worst manga I've read and I actually enjoyed some parts, but mostly I just was disappointed to see how some things could've worked if written differently, I spent a long time longing for something that wasn't there. Maybe I'm just giving it more credit than what it truly deserves because I just can't stop thinking of the what ifs.

Oono as a main character is pretty meh, I think that he could of being better written but ended up just being a bland quite typical pushover uke. Kureshima was super off from the beginning, his actions where just weird and he seemed to be more like a bully than a cool guy who's liked by everyone (which is what he was supposed to be according to the author), he was aggressive for no reason at some parts and his dialogues where badly written for the most part

Maaaan this had potential. I see the potential and it hurts that is quite poorly written, I seriously was hoping for it to have an interesting development using Oono's "hands-free masturbation" powers to make some hot scenes, but it's not even used a lot, the only interesting use of it was in the extra chapter of the first volume!

I found the writing and the structure of lots of scenes to be confusing, even the rape scene is so confusing that at first I didn't even got what was happening until the next chapter where Oono addresses it as rape but like, why tho? Why did the author had to write it like that? Maybe I got it wrong from the beginning, but it didn't even seemed like a rape scene to me until they literally addressed it like that.

I felt bad for Sasaki, poor girl. She was used as a plot device but she just had the effect of making me root for her to end up with Oono instead of Kureshima and that's not something that happens often while I read a yaoi story, in fact I think it's a first.

I liked vol. 2 way more. The "delusions" thing was used way more and it made for some pretty hot scenes. But Kureshima... fuck Kureshima. I've read many BLs with shit protagonists, but I think he may be in my top 5 of toxic boyfriends. I felt bad for Oono and it kinda triggered some bad memories of my own experience with toxic relationships.

It's like this author is really good at portraying realistic relationships, but they decide to paint harmful behaviors on a positive light...

TL;DR: this story is quite hot (2nd vol. mostly) but if you despise reading stories normalizing very harmful topics, don't read it. It was kinda ok for me, the nice smut almost cancelled the toxic parts.
