so uh Story:
you can read the synopsis but basically an air headed, straight forward boy (takada) transfers into this school where theres this gloomy girl (nishimura), her eyes look a bit "dead" and shes shy and doesnt bother standing up for herself, so her classmates bully her by calling her "a grim reaper" and dont hang out with her. however, the transfer student thinks the girl is super amazing because "grim reapers are strong and cool and i want to be one too!!'
i love this manga bc it has this positive and wholesome vibe to it. takada keeps complimenting and hyping up nishimura, whos not used to being praised and it makes a sweet dynamic! its a perfect manga for when you wanna just smile and lift ur mood up. there's a teeny winy bit of emotional thingies in a chapter or two but it isnt enough to diminish the overall heartwarming feeling.
Art:
ok so uhh the art is basic and chibi-ish, which i think suits the overall innocent theme of the manga! im an artist myself and rlly adore the roundy cutesy art style :]
Character:
oo i mainly have one thing to say abt this category and that is that there are no annoying characters!! like sometimes authors overdo the character's personalities and it feels overwhelming but in here, even the tsundere-ish type is fun and lightly done
Enjoyment:
A LOT !!! it always cheers me up and sometimes has short, snip snap chapters so its fun for when you wanna calm down from mangas with plots and heavy feelings.
Overall:
uh i love it a lot and well the first few chaps are very short so checking it out if its ur cup of tea wouldnt hurt :]
