This is another amazing anime with non-stop action. 10 all across the board. The ending by Freddie Mercury really is amazing and awe-strucking. Great Pretender doesn't just pretend it is the best, it is the best at tricking us. Every plot point seems impeccable and it just really think out of the box. The audience is completely mindblown by all the twists and turns of the story. Great Pretender really keeps pretending right till the end. You really don't know the ending of the story right until the very end of the anime. It is the gift that keeps on gifting. It has a very unique art design and the anime promoted my home country Singapore with its luscious landscape. All the characters build on each other and at the end culminating a very interesting ending. The con guy that wants to do good and the con guy that wants to continue doing bad. This anime really is breathtaking, really never letting the pace down. Action-packed yet not felt forced. I think that Great Pretender might be of the best anime this season.
