However, the beginning of the anime is out of order with the source material, which makes it a little chaotic. But once you get past that, the strengths of the series start to shine through quickly. The more unique main character and theme carry it very well in comparison to most other isekais (thinking of some typical "schoolmates in isekai" and "slime blablablas" here). The moe elements are among the main attractions too.
It's one of the better animes of the season for sure. Maybe I won't remember it for decades and decades but it's a really solid 8 for me.
