Does anyone else play the random anime game, when you find a long list of series, close your eyes, and then pick one randomly? That's how I was introduced to Ichigo Mashimaro. Normally, I never go with the choice I pick, if I get tired in the first five minutes, I'll change it. However, when I first heard the theme song, I was almost immediatly hooked.

I thoroughly loved every character and episode. The fact that it was nearly random on each episode made it easier for me; I didn't need to remember everything about the last episode to understand the one I was watching currently.

My least favorite thing about the series? The amount of Engrish was nearly enough to make me wanna cry. Call this weird, but I'm also slightly dissappointed in the ferret's screen time. While I typically don't care about animals in anime (unless, of course, I'm watching Fruits Basket) when they are seen in the opening, I had high hopes of seeing that weasel! D8

But, despite my unusual expectations, I loved this series. Something I will defiantly force my friends to watch. :)
