For someone who decided to put this show off due to the immense hype and popularity, I can proudly say that this is one of the best works I've seen. It was a great choice to leave it off til now due to my adventures in other titles. I knew the general theme and gravity this work entailed, but was scared to start it for those reasons. I was saddened already by Key's earlier work, "Kanon", and felt the impending tears as I approached "Clannad".

The sadness and joy that was exerted from my body could not compare to any other anime. There is a reason why it holds a mainstream header. With my heartstrings being pulled over and over again, I believe this show makes you appreciate what you have right in front of you. Whether it be family, a lover, or a passion. Take hold of that and cherish it for the rest of your life.

I think the reason why this anime is a 10/10 is due to its job at pushing the audience to relate to certain tragedies and situations. It, being a drama, the emotional depth each scenario has pulls at your feelings greatly. From heartbreak, to determination, and simply understanding human coexistence paints a picture on why a majority of people should watch this anime before they die in this world.

With tears and an enlightened mind, it is hard to think that this series is finished. Even though it closes without any fissures, it leaves you wanting to see the lives of these characters progress daily.

CLANNAD will be my top 1 for the rest of my life for it has taught me how to enjoy life itself and look towards my loved ones without regret.
