The manga consists in two stories about the last moments of the war on the pacific :"Between Heaven and Hell" and "97Over Drive".
Between Heaven and Hell:

This chapter consists on the desperate defense of Japan against B-29 night raids, as the MC tries to intercept the US bombers with the very last operational. I found this chapter really good, characters have good background and motivations, the level of detail of the airplanes is really good, and the end of the chapter is really emotional.
97Over Drive:
Score 10/10
The reason why this manga is my favorite by far. The second chapter is about a young man that goes against all odds to rescue his love, crossing the enemy lines and finding valuable allies during the overrun of Manchuria by the Soviet Union. The plot is really well polished, combined with the brilliant MC design and the tank fight and you have a combination that made me love this absolute masterpiece.
