that would be a basic description for the series
The plot for this show is fairly basic but original at the same time, Guy meets girl, girl hates him, they fall in love over some oddly coincidental road of events.
But this Anime does it right, or i would like to say it does
lets start off with the things i dislike about the series
first, this anime is an absolute FUCKING CRINGE FEST, i got some kind of face disease after watching this from cringing so much. Next, the main character is an absolute fucking loser, but oddly relatable at the same time.
Next, sumi got 1 ep of screen time, which is unforgivable.
Now for the things i liked
Some of the characters are oddly likeable, like kibe, sumi, chizuru, shun, etc,
the story had its ups and downs, the touch of originality helped out a bit too,
the way that the story handled changes wasnt too bad, and the op is amazing.
Im probably gonna get flamed for the 7/10 rating, but who cares, watch rent-a-girlfriend, im not claiming the the best anime out there, but its definitely worth your time
