Lucky Star is one of those anime that looks kind of girly and not very funny. However if you give it time, say two or three minutes, it will start to hit a funny bone or two. Lucky Star does something that few anime have done and does it will. It takes the anime fan and makes you take a look at how "the rest of the world" sees you. Because of this I now have a cool little figure of one of the characters setting on my entertainment center that my family gave me. It was given to me after my parents were helping me clean up for a Christmas party and I was watching Lucky Star. The figure has a note permanently attached to it with one of her famous lines that my mother thought was fitting for me. It sets on top of a stack of anime and every time I go and get an anime to watch i see the figure and hear her voice saying that line. Thank you Kari Wahlgren. Thought the art is a little "cartoonish" it is very well done and the story is very well thought out and presented in a very entertaining way.
