Azumanga Daioh is one of the best anime I have seen. I actually passed it up when it first came. I thought it looked to girly for someone like me. Nearly ten years later I am highly recommending it to anyone who enjoys good original sitcoms. It is not hard for me to translate what the girls do in the anime over to what my friends and I did in high school. The story line, though random, is fairly easy to fallow and the art work is very good. Both the art work and the story translated very well from the manga to the anime. Unfortunately some of the best parts of the manga were cut , I guess to save time, but some scenes were added that were just as good. All in all Azumanga Daioh is one of the better anime out there and worth taking a look at.
