When I was scrolling down the top anime list I sow this one. I was really curious how a plain slice of life looking anime got between the 1st page of top animes. So added it to my planing to watch list. And sow 3 episodes and dropped it. But I was still curious so I left it on my on hold list. And later probably after 3-4 years during my quarantine days. I was thinking how I don't want to die living an anime unfinished. I re-watched it and now..... I can't believe it it not in the top 3 ! How the hell did this end up in my on hold?! What in the world was the teen me thinking. This is a freaking master piece! Omg did it win an award?! Probably has a lot I mean never have I felt such roller coaster of emotions. I love slice of life but I had an unconscious prejudice in me that beloved slice of life anime could never keep up with action/fantasy but I was a complete idiot to think that. This anime alone proves it. It was a slap slap slap on my face with absolutely warmth of a anime I was yearning for all my life. If I had died without finishing this I would have time traveled my self back just to slap me!!!!! I truly am in love with everything about this anime. The bioreactors sooooooooo unbelievably beautiful soles I could feel them right in front of me. The story how it was not twisted around a single topic but layer by layer covering everything about life. The artstyle how breathtaking it's not exactly to detailed or to vague but just in the middle so that it can give equal importance to all aspects of it not just one! I love the eyes especially, thy are scribbled but not half-assed scribbling we make when you are lazy but it's intentional and makes sense somehow. The soundtrack was flowing so undisturbed I felt like I was floating on it letting it carry me away with it just to absorbed into my rectangular screen. I absolutely love it please make all the characters achieve happiness because you guys are amazing!!!!!!!!
