All I can say so far is... What fury hath I brought upon myself from the depths of Hell?
To call this "gory" is a gross statement. It's certainly more beautifully illustrated than most "guro" out there, and certainly different from anything else I've ever seen. I'm not exactly sure how to feel about this, though. At points, this gets really cool. I mean, at least it's sorta realistic, in a weird sort of way, and at least it's not a gross perversion that drives the ridiculous amount of dismemberment it gives. But it does sometimes get overbearing when every episode, including ones that make more of a cutesy plot out of the relationships between the main characters, has some really graphic imagery.
Storywise, it's at least understandable. There's sadism galore here, and the characters' personalities range from loli levels of adorable to horrifyingly, Cannibal Corpse-esque malicious. I find myself consistently questioning why they didn't pick a different direction to take this story, because at times, it does really surpass the obvious fetishists' expectations, and moreover, is plenty good enough for its own series without all the dismemberment and blood.
The sound is done well enough, but my eardrums are tired every so often when I have to hear the screams of pain from dismembered girls (though that's well done, it's still painful to hear). Other than that, voice acting is done very well, though the soundtrack isn't quite as thought-provoking as it could be.
I'm enjoying it so far, but I don't honestly know how much more of this I can take. It's gonna be an interesting few days.
