I rate this show with an 8 because, given the material we've witnessed so far, I feel like it's the most fair and appropriate grade at this point and I have high expectations going forward.
Watching Fugou:Keiji Balance:Unlimited basically feels like a deal negotiation going smoothly, it progressively struggles for an ideal result which all present parties would benefit from with little to no openings for things to go sideways. The 1st episode really did its part in sparking interest that'll keep me going and also provided a suitable amount of comedy that efficiently carried over to other episodes and added more element to the show overall.
It's action-packed, amusing, good at executing given material, elements and, last but not least, it's fun as hell.
I mean, having two MCs, followed by an amusing side cast, who are total opposites of one another team up, work together on cases in their own ways as they continue building trust and further developing their relationship? This could basically play out like *insert buddy cop movie title* here except make it anime, sign me up!
A thing that works really well here is how unpredictable the show is, leaving little room for ideas and theories to come your way. Having said all that, I recommend it with ease, whether this is your thing or not. I will await every new episode eagerly because I feel like it might get even better in the meantime!
