tl;dr: Robinhood the anime.
Contains mild spoilers, only watched 14 episodes as of this review.
Story: 7
The show is broken up apart in different arcs, lasting 4-5 episodes.
After the first arc, viewers will notice a similar formula is applied to each arc, making them cliche and easily predictable. The only thing that is not predictable is how they resolve the issue.
I consider the first arc the best one deserving a score of 8/9, because of how they used the surprise element; however, the magic quickly wears off with each succeeding arc.
Each arc is easily summarized as a corrupt rich person who is caught taking advantage of something, followed by a tragic backstory from one of the main cast as the arc goes on, and ending with the rich person getting conned by our main cast.
Art: 8
Fluid animation, and very vibrant colors.
Sound: 10
Outstanding performance from the sound department. With a jazzing opening to an ending by Freddie Mercury, the anime has outdone itself. Each arc seems to have a different English song associated with it.
Characters: 7
The characters seem to be pretty simple, with each of them having a tragic backstory.
We have Edamura who's the MC that believes in "justice" and wants to do honest work; however, always roped in each crime. Laurent, who's a mastermind playing 4D Chess and somehow always is pulling the strings. Abigail who's a superhuman.
Enjoyment: 7
The first arc was a banger, with twists everywhere; but, as the story started going downhill, I was enjoying the anime less and less.
Overall: 7
Going to keep watching to see where it goes, but even if the story does not improve, the music more than makes up for it.
