The characters are so much fun and really well written. The plot itself is also fantastic, but just the characters alone are good enough to carry this story. There is an episode which diverts from the plot completely almost and it's still just as fun if not more than when the plot is rolling. Oh and when the plot gets rolling the pacing of this show is also very well done. So much happens in such a short time span. The manga is longer than anime so the story does not conclude where the anime leaves off.
The one thing that really holds this show back is the animation. It's not great, it's passable 3D. While it isn't terrible by any means it does not do the story the justice it deserves.
This was such a nice refreshing show to watch and hopefully get better animation for a 2nd season.
