So I'm not a fan of time travel stories, normally they have massive holes in them that leave the plot open and feeling empty. With this movie you feel like the director spent a massive amount of time on this story.
Art:
Now this was one of my favorite parts of this entire movie, the visuals were absolutely stunning and the background really makes the characters feel like they are in the real world, bursting with color and detail. One of the movies strongest suits.
Sound:
The soundtrack really sets the mood of the scene, there wasn't a single time in the movie that i thought that this particular song did not go with the scene or emotions of the characters.
Character:
Now this was my favorite part of this movie, the characters are bursting with personality. Sometimes you may forget that these are just anime characters compared to real people since they act like us, talk like us, and make normal mistakes.
Overall:
I think this movie is a must watch for those who are interested in a vary out of the ordinary time travel story, if your picky with art details your going to have to go out of your way to find one on this. If you enjoy interesting characters then you can look no further. Overall i give it a solid 9/10.
