The fights are really great and so is how the students try to manage themselves (very interesting and kind of hilarious) but it falls short in delivering elements that can stand alone as great parts of the anime. It all works together well but it doesn't have any exceptional parts.
If you like fights against authority or powers, this is for you. A love or tolerance of mechs is also required if you hope to enjoy this.
