I really enjoyed the story. I had no idea what it was about, I sort of just started reading it and let things unfold. I was then surprised to find out what it was about, but it didn’t discourage me from reading it, it only drew me in further I suppose. I think the way that things played out was rather interesting for what it was. For such a personal and delicate subject, I think it came across well in an impactful way. Because there is so little of chapters and its such a short story, theirs new information each page so, you are sure kept on your toes. Some parts however, I found to be a little confusing but then again, this really isn’t what I typically read. I am considering reading it again at some point to clear some things up.
The characters had enticing stories to tell. I feel like the use of opposing characteristics of the characters, worked well in balancing things out and bringing different elements together. I liked how the traits weren’t too distinguishable. Often at times when a character is introduced you can always guess how they are and play out, but it wasn’t so much the case for these, in my opinion. The personalities were somewhat fresh.
I liked the art style quite a lot. Some of the scenes in the snow where the characters are traversing environments are looking. Especially when it is snowing. One of the things I feel the manga did well was conveying the changes of seasons and weather. This made the manga feel longer while at the same time showcasing some good-looking scenery. The actual characters also looked nicely detailed.
Yes, it is fair to say It was an enjoyable read. One which I might read again sometime. It was nice to get out of my comfort zone and I intend to investigate some more manga like this and possibly with the opposite gender.
