This is just another blatant attempt at fetishizing suicide and at trying to create undeserved pathos by having all the characters literally constantly SCREAM at each other and calling that characterization.
Not at any moment does it give any believable reason as to how any of them act the way they did, the shred of backstory mariko is given is in the first chapter "her father raped her this is so sad" and I'm not even starting about shii-chan who's an unbearable hysteric fuck and doesn't have any sort of grounded or subtle way of showing her feelings.
Honestly I don't think broken mariko is good even as a cheap entertainment, just stay the hell away from it.
Absolutely pathetic.
