Now, I tried hard to watch this even though after the first five minutes or so I knew what I was getting into. Surely, I thought, something that is so highly rated couldn't be this generic and shit. Well, after about four episodes I was certain of how wrong I had been. But I still tried and even though I watched a few more episodes I was so bored and disinterested I started reading old newspapers for entertainment.

Needless to say, I consider this to be one of the most overrated shows. The art was garbage, the characters were total shit, the animation was utter trash as well (not what I expected from Madhouse). The story... I don't know if there even was one. Even so, if you're the sadistic power fantasy loving type, you'd enjoy this as evidenced by the obscenely high rating this show has on here.

For those who still value brain cells and would rather watch something other than torture porn, avoid this. Or better yet, try it and bring down its rating to a more accurate level (which should be around 5).
