Story – 9
I really enjoy this anime; it’s really strong in its story. The focus is built on the friendships of a dorm full of misfits and oddities. The story is coherent and focus’ on important relationships in the main characters life.
Art – 7
There are some spectacular scenes with some incredible imagery. Ranging from painting to character reactions. The scenery is particularly of note.
Sound – 6
Nothing of note, the OP and ED are good, but the background music isn’t that special.
Character – 10
I love the quirks of these characters; each character has a polarising personality from the others.
Sorata is a great male protagonist, he can be bland, but he has a lot of personality. He gets thrown into some hilarious situations and his interactions with every character feel amazing and genuine.
Mashiro as the main girl is quite and doesn’t show much emotion, but that leads to amazing misunderstandings and hilarious situations.
Nanami is the competition for Mashiro and has some great situations. she provides the heavy hitting emotional situations to the series, but they feel genuine and human.
What is amazing in this series is the development of each character. The characters change immensely throughout the story and you get to see the depth of each characters emotions throughout the series.

It’s a great series, I love it. The characters are amazing and the depth that the series goes into with the characters allows a great experience. I would whole heartedly recommend this series to anyone.
