This anime was written and directed by Makoto Shinkai which consists of three episodes.
This 5 Centimeters per Second is actually kind of nice. The story-line was cruel but somehow true (although i really did not like the ending myself). Life itself is cruel to us, you see. So it was a great thing that the director put all this into a story. If you try thinking backwards how have your dreams and your will came to reality? I dare say the probability is only 3/10. The idea doest not only apply on love itself, but everything else as well.
Now back to the story. This story really make me feel bad for the characters. They were always alone. Even though they sent messages through post at first. When they grew older. They texted through their cell phones. Through all this without having another chance to meet each other. Now that is miserable. Lets apply ourselves into the anime shall we? One question. If you have ever been in a relationship. How long will your relationship last IF the both of you are always miles away from each other?
This anime is good. Therefore it still deserve a 7/10.
