For the most part, when looking at reviews for an anime the goal shouldn't be is this “good” or not. I think it should be, “is this something I’d enjoy”. The purpose of this review is too hopefully explain the appeal of miria nikki and also what people might find unappealing as well. I will try to avoid saying unhelpful words like good or bad in this review as much as i can.
Miria nikki is filled with shock value, plot twists and fucked up shit. If you are looking for subtle written characters ect, avoid this like the plague. If you are looking for a crazy adventure, filled with a morbid curiosity, this might be for you. I found mirai nikki to be entertaining as hell. I think this is what you’d expect from a battle royal show. The main character is a bit of a bottom so don't expect some op protagonist, it's not that type of show. My biggest advice I can probably give is, if you hate crazy characters like literally insane people, definitely don’t watch this but if you enjoy that sort of stuff definitely give it a shot. It also gives off serial killer vibes a lot. If you hate yanderes don't watch this. I actually found myself laughing a lot, hope i'm not the only one. Also Be prepared to hear someone say “yuki”…like alot. Also you should know, there's little shorts after the credits on most of the episodes. Also just having the tags “Mystery” “Psychological”, “Supernatural”, “Thriller” and having romance(not wholesome) is a combo that should explain a lot. I think whether you’ll like this show really boils down too if you love or hate being hit by a thousand pounds of edge. If you feel like watching something thrilling, messed up and not super sophisticated, definitely check out this edgy rollercoaster.'
