Haruka na Machi e is about a guy who gets transported to the past (his childhood - in particular). That's where all the similarities with other stories I've read end.
Here, we don't focus on the time travel bit (I mean in the beginning we have the lead being surprised a lot) nor about how you might encounter your past self (He lives as his past self). There is a paint of nostalgia over the whole story but that never felt it was unnecessary. There is a quite a bit of how his actions (as a grown-up in a kid's body) would impact his present but more importantly its about how he deals and understands the emotions and actions that the adults around him take when he is young - something that always puzzled him before. There are these parallels/thoughts about his current time (when he has teleported to the past) and he compares it with his time when he is a kid, trying to make sense of events that have impacted his life.

I would say yes, go ahead.
Will you enjoy it? I think that depends on your age and experiences. I feel that this is targeted at an audience that has begun working or rather you'd enjoy it more if you have worked at any point of your life. Not to say you can't enjoy it otherwise, though. Regardless, it's pretty short and you can finish it in one sitting - so go ahead, give it a shot and experience the story for yourself :)
