Kei and Tilarna work so well together in this buddy cop anime. Their interactions and banter would fit right at home inside your average western film of TV series. This, plus the supporting cast, really paints a realistic depiction of a multidimensional precinct, dealing with all sorts of heinous crimes.
But my lord, is the animation terrible. You'll get those "slide show" moments often, and some animations are drawn out for a few seconds too long. The episode with the vampire chick was probably my most frustrating experience, solely due to how dark that episode was. Another problem that arises is the pacing for these episodes. The last arc started in the middle of an episode just purely because the last arc was too long to fit into one episode, but way too short to justify being in two.
I find myself as a optimistic and forgiving viewer, so I can't reccomend this show to anyone. Most people who I know personally wouldn't be as willing to sit shows of this quality all the way through. But at the very least the show knows how to end when it needs to, sans cliffhangers or other sequel baiting techniques. 5/10
