"It's all a conspiracy."

We believe that everything that happens in our lives is caused by either our own actions or by fate. Happiness or sadness. Victory and defeat. Everything happens by coincidence...or so we think.

Satou Tatsuhiro, a 22 year old hikikomori (a shut in, a NEET), stumbles upon a horrifying truth. His life is being controlled and agonized by the N.H.K. or the Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai. A secret organization that, according to him, aims to mass produce hikikomori like himself, while making his life miserable. One night, he meets Nakahara Misaki, a teen-aged girl that claims she can cure Satou's hikikomori ways.

The story revolves around these two, as they encounter many real life problems, from different people other than themselves. We are introduced to small problems like having difficulties in going outside, to serious ones like suicide. We are shown that all of these things can be resolved in some way or another. It also shows how we must face our own lives, our own problems.

A serious storyline mixed with a couple of funny moments results in a very puling series that will leave you questioning yourself once it's over.
