This story is well written and the art is really good, too. I think my main complaint about the whole series is that, because I am not fluent in the languages this is licensed in (NOT THE MANGA'S FAULT), the translations are kinda bad so I couldn't understand the whole story. I read this off of MangaRock where a lot of rookie translators and redrawers post these. The story is well told, though, and you can understand it without the dialogue. For the most part, I enjoyed reading it. I hope it will be an anime adaption someday. I also hope it gets licensed in English. The art is really good. Somehow, I don't see how the sadism story is a sidestory to this series, though. Maybe someone explain that?
