Preliminary (7/6 chp)
This was the first manga that I read that I really liked. The story and characters were both extremely fleshed out and felt real to me.

The story deals with people who have hearing disabilities and the struggles they face, as well as the mistakes that non-hearing impaired people do while interacting with them. It delves into feelings of inadequacy and self doubt, and questioning where your place in the world is. The struggles are not only faced by the character with a hearing impairment, but rather every character-even the minor background ones- are fleshed out and made human. I'm glad that it is continuing, and that it is also being continued with a proper official English language translation, because more people need to read this series.

The art is relatively good for a first time mangaka and as the story progresses her art gets better and more advanced, which only adds to the quality of the work she presents. There are a few awkward proportions, but again this is primarily only in the first book and is a result of inexperience rather than an intentional "yaoi hands" desire from the mangaka.

Like I said before every character feels fleshed out and human, even the minor ones. Everyone has their own struggles and flaws that making reading about them interesting.

I would highly suggest picking this manga up, it has a lot more to offer than the shonen-ai it's billed as.
