Sound: Having watched it now I can say the sound was probably the worst. It was overly generic even having the cicada background noise Some of the fight scenes sounded like they had kazoos playing. I'd say the voice acting was okay for 1989, but the english voices were from 1998 so it was probably under budget.
Enjoyment: They had nice scenery, Had some twists in the story telling near the end. I think if you were to compare it to any other ninja series of anime it couldn't compete. If you were watching it see what 1980's anime film would be like then alright when comparing it to other 1980's anime where your only options were limited to blockbuster. Having the internet and being able to access that older content allows us to judge and being able to do that now I'd of picked something else.
