Yes it has a lot of elements of your typical fighting anime but a lot of the characters actually have unique back stories and are all very likable. Their designs are very original too, all the characters look different.
Yusuke Homna composed the music for this show and it's all amazing. The background music can get stuck in your head for hours. All the characters have their own themes which are all catchy and just very fitting. The opening and closing music are amazing all the way through. Not one song is a disappointment. They're all very memorable.
Theres something in this show for everyone, even my mother enjoys this one. The fighting doesn't take away from the overall story. I'll always enjoy this show no matter what.
