A true masterpiece in the Donbei instant noodle genre, really goes above and beyond the source material in a short that truly elevates both the anime and the product. While the canonity of this ONA could be questioned, it wouldnt be surprising to find out that this marks a major turing point in the characters relationships. While its hard to pinpoint the exact place in the timeline, the fact that Wakaba still has the rope around him means that it takes place in the first half. Could this be the event that won over the girls trust? We may never know. Bravo Tatsuki.
Just kidding, its just a commercial for noodles. Its not even really funny or anything but its more interesting that it exists, back when Kemono Friends aired Tatsuki and Donbei struck the same deal, so its just cute to see it continue as a sort of running thing. I'm hoping it happens again with whatever he directs next because itll be a good running gag the longer it goes.
