ART
The art is pretty good considering Aoyama sensei won many art awards. There is more gore in the manga but the old conan episodes in the anime also do not hold back at all . The character designs are all beautiful and appealing . The animation changes a lot as you progress .
SOUND
Detective Conan has by far the best OSTs I have ever heard in all of anime . The jazz, the sombre tracke and the music when Black Organization appears are all chilling as hell . Many of the soundtracks are still here after years . Basically if its a song from Conan i know its from Conan.
CHARACTERS
The characters are what set Detective Conan apart from most other anime I have watched . There is no other anime where I love each and every character to death . Most of the murderers you see for only 2 or 3 episodes but their motive will make you think , was that murder justified?.
Some cases are really morbid . The primary antagonist in the series are the black organization . They are extremely powerful and have members in the police, politics, CEOS,Hollywood, skilled assassins , snipers , information gathering etc . Many of the characters in Conan have a very high IQ and they always make you look dumb with their deductions.
ENJOYMENT
Detective Conan I admit is not everyones cup of tea . The plot is quite slow but when it gets good it gets BLOODY GOOD. If you are a sherlock holmes fan you will definetely love Conan. I suggest you switch over to the manga after catching up as there are many fillers in the anime.
OVERALL
I thank Aoyama sensei for this masterpiece . All the tricks used in Conan he actually tries them out in real life and he works 20 hours a day on this manga. WITHOUT DOUBT , DETECTIVE CONAN IS THE GREATEST DETECTIVE MYSTERY MANGANIME OF ALL TIME AND THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER WHICH IS GREATER . MARK MY WORDS
