I do enjoy shows with complex ideas, but they tend to be more difficult to execute. This show had grandiose ideas for the idea of people traveling back to special memories as well as a dystopian future exploration with interesting character backstories, but the scriptwriting to keep the plot together was not there, especially for awkward action scenes. I think if they had a guy to specialize on making the action scenes and plot devices make sense it might have turned out into a great show.

Story:
Cool overarching ideas, terrible execution especially action scenes. I did enjoy the themes and ideas in the side stories.

Art:
The important places all were fleshed out. It must have been hard to have to animate all of those robots.

Sound:
I liked the interesting eyecatch audio. Nothing too special good or bad.

Character:
Derrida seems like a weak lead as he seems to be led by plot rather than pushing forward the plot himself.
Mage was nonexistent.
Yuri is pretty forgettable. I don't think she did much in their journey besides survive.
Vidaux, Mayuka, and Graham were pretty memorable and well fleshed out. A prequel with just them would have solid due to their characters.
I don't understand why they made Andrei a joke character and Schmidt a real villain boss, with Donna being the strong antagonist character.

Enjoyment:
I was able to suppress my plot-hole reflex to somewhat enjoy the general theme of the show, but I completely understand people who are upset at the glaring holes. I was able to enjoy the last episode as well as the backstory episodes on Vidaux and Donna.
