Preliminary (4/12 eps)
If you've stumbled across this show, there's a strong chance it's because of the talent attached - namely, Satou Takuya. You see that name and think to yourself, "He led series like Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, and Steins;Gate. What could go wrong?" In short - everything.

Any element of this show that isn't painfully awful is mediocre at best. The characters all have no personality. There are no defining traits. The one character who had rules he lived by literally abandons them when it becomes convenient to the plot.

At four episodes in, the "time ride" mechanic, blatantly lifted from S;G, has served only a single purpose - a seemingly inconsequential twist. The only difference I could think of is that Derrida, unlike Okabe, doesn't know of the changes as they happen.

To me, this seems like Satou really liked the way time worked within Steins;Gate and his only original thought outside of that was, "But what if it was in the future?" From there, I imagine everything that wound up in this series thus far is a result of trying desperately to think of futuristic sci-fi plots to justify this setting. Spoiler: It doesn't justify the setting at all.
