The Story just makes no sense but it makes you think about the world and maybe where we going in Earth. Maybe one day our wires will buzz with people in them and we'll live in virtual worlds instead of real one! Its tough to get but its fun to think about. It has a lot for computer nerds like me but most people wont care.
The Art ismt really much special to it but it works okay. The opening is great though and amazing song with it. Just wish show had more of that style.
The Sound is just mostly buzzing except for the opening which again was fantastic. There isn't much to say here, just hold a bee hive up to your ears and you'll have gotten the Lain sound track.
The Characters are realistic but also conflicted. Theres no craziness which is great but disappoint to us fans of anime who like things to be crazy. I really wish it had some personalite.
I enjoy this series because now I think about the virtual world more and future. Its not crazy or all that great but check it out and you'll think more like me do.
