---SPOILERS--- (I mean, nothing is really THAT important to lose, but I'm here to explain why it's subversive by explaining a scene n the hentai)
So right off the bat, this hentai starts off inside a train, a very common place for hentai to make sex scenes out of for some reason. The main girl (who obviously has big boobs) gets in the train and starts being molested by a guy who looks like the TV host from the beginning of SAO II.
Now this sounds like everything's just your typical hentai bullshit, and no one will notice the girl and will get "silently" raped.
SURPRISINGLY, this girl actually tries to use SELF-DEFENSE. YEAH. A LANDMARK OF A CONCEPT IN HENTAI. NO KIDDING.
Even if she used self-defense, the guy still tries to molest the girl, and OH MAN something amazing also happens: the girl SCREAMS FOR HELP. AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY NOTICED HER SCREAM. You might be thinking that I'm such a fucking idiot praising common sense and basic tactics to not get molested. Well that's because common sense does NOT exist in hentai. Whether that's a good or bad thing, it's still nonetheless stupid. BUT THIS HENTAI ACKNOWLEDGES THOSE TROPES AND DOES SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
Going far down here, you might be wondering why this is still a hentai. The girl did every possible way to get away from being raped, so why still a hentai?
Well, my friends, this is where things get absolutely crazy and downright hilarious. The molester scoffs and says that no matter what the girl does won't help her. Why? Because the guy has a molester's license.
You heard me, A MOLESTER'S LICENSE.
That's when I realize, this hentai really KNOWS it's a hentai and doesn't take itself too seriously and IS self-aware. The rest of the hentai is basic rapey shit, though there's a pretty hot yuri scene, so that's a plus. Also, I'm praising the first episode only. The second one sucked balls.
But even so, I really love this hentai because not only it knows it's a stupid hentai, but it plays around its tropes and did something to subvert it AND make it absolutely silly.
It knows it's silly, and I applaud them for that. I wish other hentai could be somehow subversive and funny just like this one. Maybe I'm just insane for praising this TOO much, but it's just something I found absolutely hilarious, in a good way.
