PROS:
- Characters are unique
- Romance is there and obvious
- The main girl has a great backstory
- Arcade games!
CONS (so far):
- Some people might not like the MC
- If you're not into games that much, moments where games are being the main focus might be boring (probably 50%-70% of the show is about arcade games).
I'm a huge fan of the romance genre, especially when it's not all dark but a mixture of drama and fun. I like it especially when there are other main focuses of the plot. After finishing dozens of romance anime, I find it quite hard to get a romance show that would make me say "wow, this looks interesting!"
And High Score Girl was the hidden gem of this season.
Good characters + good romance + good plot revolving about arcade games = watch it now.
