All of the characters are stupid, bordering on literal retardation to the point where after being awake for over 20 hours I could come up with better plans than these scientists in a matter of seconds. The most intelligent characters were only capable of using extremely basic tactics, like fucking backing away from an enemy with an extremely limited range (2 meters)
Question, did any of these scientists think "Huh, maybe we shouldn't keep these dio-whatever fuck it, demons alive, maybe we should be more cautious when approaching them, maybe we should put our security through basic training so they know not to stand that fucking close to a demon who could shred them to bits instantly, seriously, its 2 goddamn meters.
Why do they hire psychopaths to take care of shit , the one who threatened to kill multiple people for no reason and was extremely counter-productive, could they not get someone qualified to do it?
The plot is completely unexplained, there are all these "demons", the reason why they exist is never explained, the reason why the two male characters are demons is never explained, and why they want to murder humans is never explained, other than the fact that the humans look like completely sadistic ass wipes.
Why do Lucy and Kota like each other? Now hear me out on this one guys, maybe its just me, but if some girl I spent one summer with murdered my family I would not forgive her, no matter how nicely she asked. There are also incestual themes constantly, that never get addressed or resolved, and didn't really even have a reason to be there at all. This weird fucking love situation going on is so goddamn over the place, I could have written a better story than this, I literally could have, and I'm honestly a fucking dumbass.
They only joy I derived from this show was the amazing opening and the fact that it was so mediocre to the point where it actually became comedic, which raised many questions like "Who the hell is paying these kids to live?" like don't they have bills and shit? Not one of them appears to have a job, two go to school, 3 are clearly unemployed.
Oh yeah, I guess the excessive gore was cool, did it redeem this show? Absolutely fucking not, go watch Devilman or berserk if you wanna see that shit, if you honestly think that fucking gore is enough to bring this show back up to a respectable level, have fun at middle school.
