Despite me seeing the whole story, I think I can safely assume some events remind me of Zeta Gundam. I won't say which, but the events are definitely better than the events of SEED Destiny. I'm too embarrased to add that series to my list.
Now, back on track, I'll start with the things I really liked. First off, the character development.
Every character that is in the series has their own personal dillema, be it with the government, his/her family, past relationships and so on. Some are just hell-bent on revenge. Sometimes due to their own mistakes.
The main set of characters, the Gundam Meisters, especially have problems, but most of them are resolved near the ending of the series.
The music was spot on for the whole time, and some of the scenes without music left me focusing on the ambience of the scenes. I must say that it didn't work every time, but still.
The art is also very good. The new units that appear are almost always very well drawn and conceived. Some even have their different modes, which is always welcome. Sure, the eyes of some characters are just...eh? But that hardly affects the episodes at all. You should be focusing on the anime in general, no?
Most of all, I enjoyed the series overall. But as it always is, there are still a few problems.
Mainly, some of the characters just sound really clueless. I can't spoil them but I can at least say it's a few of the main characters. By clueless, I also mean naive.
The second one is a quirk of sorts, but the second opening is just not really appealing to me. The eyes especially.
And finally, the third one, is that some of the mobile suits are just plot materials. Especially the main one, but it's also really rad so I can't say much against it.
Anyways, I recommend people to have a look at this series. A lot of the things are very well made and most of all, enjoyable.
