Demon prince decides to skedaddle out of his wedding, and have a fling in the human world. Daddy demon king sends minions to retrieve him. Prince and his attendant, and the three minions, blend into the same school, playing cat and mouse. Hilarity ensues.

Despite changing his appearance and name (now he's a student named "Kujou"), the prince cannot remove the marking on his back. Once Kujou becomes a suspect, the minions have to figure out a way to get his shirt off! How do you do that in school?

I think that really good shoujo comedies are rare. But this is a good one. It got a grin, laugh, giggle, or squeal out of me at least once a minute. Not only are the situations funny, but the drawings do a great job of heightening the comedic effect. (It switches back and forth between detailed shoujo art, to highly simplified drawings--making things VERY funny!)

For most of it, there isn't much of a story per se. The whole situation is set up within a few pages, and most of what follows is a slapstick routine. The minions try to figure out if Kujou is really the prince, more minion groups are sent from hell, none of the demon groups are communicating so all the operations are at odds with each other...but things coalesce into a story for the ending.

What made the story lovable was the prince's gusto for earth life. He is excited about everything. He's no groucho. And he loves being friends with Taiki (who has a secret of his own). For him, their friendship is the best thing about being on earth. The way the art style was done, Kujou was too often highly cute and squeal-inducing!

The only drawback for me was some occasional nudity from Kujou's assistant.

If you appreciate shoujo stories and art, but like a good laugh, and don't mind a crazy, unbelievable, off-the-wall story (where there is any story), I highly recommend this!
