Somewhat of spoilers ahead, not too big.
This show could have been a 9 or even 10 for me if certain parts had been a little different.

What I loved was the concept and the characters. The humor is mature, yet there's some silliness embedded in it that keeps the show light. All the otaku's with their various quirks are very endearing and oftentimes very humorous, and the rest of the characters have their own fleshed out personalities. To me, this isn't like some shows where only a few peoples' personalities are shown. Even the "villainess" (spoiler?sorry!) of this show has redeeming qualities; She could be cringeworthy and over the top, but still maintained some comedic relief. It was also neat to see the male main character comfortable with his feminine side, which is something a lot of shows/movies, etc do not explore, especially in Western media.

I also love all the jellyfish references, whoever created this show obviously did their research. The show's main female character, Tsukimi, has a believable affinity to these creatures, and it adds a lot of depth to the show (no pun intended!)

As for what I didn't like...
There is one part towards the last episodes where one of the male characters just slaps a woman straight in the face, and that just didn't seem necessary. Granted, this woman was really scummy but I just don't see how the male character hitting her made any sense.

Also, if I'm being really picky about things, the main male character kinda seems to be trying to change Tsukimi into something she is really not, and I thought by the end of the story he would come full circle to see that he did't need to change her, and that her true beauty came out when she was truly being herself, in her element with her jellyfish. I don't know, maybe this is covered in the manga, but I haven't read it.

Overall, I really enjoyed this show. The animation was beautiful, it made me laugh, and it gave me the feels.
