This anime is like, a soothing balm to the heart (cheesy as though it may seem.)
The story is about a boy named Natsume, and every episode, he encounters youkai that have all these little stories and meanings behind them.
The story is outstanding; it is beautiful in a simple way, and sometimes, that is the best way, especially in these chaotic lifestyles of ours these days. The music adds on to this peace; and sometimes you are so touched, you will start to cry. (God knows how many times I did while watching this series.)
The art is also very pleasing. The colors fit with the story and are soothing to the eyes. It enhances that aura of simplicity.
All in all, this is an anime you should definitely watch, especially when you're feeling overwhelmed in this hectic world of ours. Just... enjoy these little stories about the life of a boy who sees spirits.
