The romance was done really well, I really liked the idea that Tamako shared feelings for Mochizou, its just she was too dense to realise throughout the series and only embraced those feelings when she thought she might lose him. Throughout the show I was constantly thinking how great of a couple the two of them would make due to how both of them are extremely kind and caring towards everyone around them (them being best friends just makes it better).
I was left feeling both happy and sad, extremely happy and satisfied that we got to see them get together at the end but also sad that there is no more story to follow. Personally I would love to see some kind of sequel short/story showing them as a couple but I'm happy with it ending here.
